In accordance with the Government of Ontario’s announcement on Monday January 3, 2022, the Zoo and Terra Lumina closed to the public on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, until at least January 27, 2022. During this temporary closure, there will be Zoo staff on-site to ensure our animals continue to receive the highest levels of care and our critical infrastructures are maintained.

As a not-for-profit charitable organization, the Toronto Zoo relies heavily on revenue from admissions, parking, events, programs and onsite sales to financially support their operations. We are grateful for the outpouring of support from our community, and for the many who that have asked what else they can do to help at this time, here are some ways you can support the Zoo while we remain closed once again.
